She married a prominent attorney from Cameroon and lived and worked in that country for 14 years. Upon her return to the US she wrote for 7 years for The Washington Post on Capitol Hill and was lead proposal writer for an international consulting company for 14 years.

The flagship book of Nancy’s Human Trafficking Series, Harem Slave, reached number 7 in All Fiction on Amazon (of nearly 3 million titles), and books two and three, Prince Ibrahim's Favorite and Voices from the Harem are also perennial best-sellers.
